GLOBAL ROOTS, LOCAL CONNECTION

We’re in Vancouver, Portland, and Sydney, so no matter where you are, or what you need, we’re always ready to roll.

Stuart Gillies
Founder & Director

  • Currently raising a pack of kids with his multilingual wife, Stu has been noodling with cameras for over 20 years. He says “Hell Yes” to just about everything, which has taken him around the world and connected him with some of the most talented folks in the biz. An expert in direction, cinematography, editing, and hugs, you’ll usually find Stu surfing, golfing, running through the forest, or chilling by a fire with his favorite people.

Andrea Rathborne
Creative Partnerships

  • After 20 years building creative teams, crafting brand stories, and forging partnerships with brands like Lululemon, Saje Natural Wellness, Article, and Half Betty, Andrea still believes the best work happens through relationships. Equal parts creative leader, storyteller, and connector, she shapes big ideas that land with people. Outside of work, she’s hosting deep conversations, spotting patterns, or tearing up over a really good story.

Steve Cousins
Head of Creative

  • Since being picked first overall in the ‘89 Ridge Meadows Little League draft, Steve has gone on to become an accomplished Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director. He packs 25 years of brand-building and team leadership experience working with top creative studios and global brands. A proud Canadian, he won’t shut up about hockey and is always down for poutine, pints, and pick-up games.

Jared Ben
Executive Producer

  • Once upon a time Jared disappeared into Panama’s rainforest to learn Spanish; in a twist, he met a French speaker and is now learning that language to keep up with his toddler. With 12 years in creative, commercial, and agency life, he went from TV producer to Canva’s Head of Partnerships, helping global brands deliver content. A natural connector, Jared loves coffee and thrives where creativity, collaboration, and chaos meet.

Kerry Bhangu
Producer

  • Kerry’s love for advertising started young, with bedroom walls covered in glossy print ads torn from ’90s magazines. That early fascination has grown into a 15-year producing career, where she’s built a reputation for bringing bold, out-of-the-box ideas to life without losing sight of the details. She’s also a huge Hello Kitty enthusiast, which is especially impressive for someone who’s very allergic to cats.

Miles Clark
Photographer

  • Born into a creative family in London, Miles picked up a camera young and hasn’t put it down since. He started professionally as an assistant photographer, retoucher, and graphic designer before fully embracing natural light and an active outdoor lifestyle as his creative fuel. When he’s not lying on the floor or climbing some sketchy ladder to get “the shot,” you’ll find Miles in the woods, biking or hiking with his wife and two boys.

Andy Kang
Motion Designer

  • Andy got his start as a Drill Sergeant in the South Korean Army before earning black belts in just about every martial art there is. That discipline and leadership make him one of the most grounded and collaborative creatives you’ll ever work with. When he’s not kicking ass, Andy spends his days with his awesome wife and their two Scottish Terriers, Kira and Taki, who run the house and occasionally let him sit on the couch.

Aki Kettula
Post-Production

  • Finnish-born and now fully Canadianized, Aki has spent 20 years honing his craft as a video editor, colourist, and post-production technician. Basically, he’s a one-man post-production powerhouse. When he’s not in a dark room shaping edits or figuring out workflows, you’ll find him eating dirt on mountain bike trails, playing hockey like a proper Finn, or chasing his kids around a campground.
